April is the month of Autism Awareness.
On Wednesday 4 April the students at Fairfield West Public School celebrated Autism Awareness Day by dressing in blue. Each class created a blue flower which was planted in the garden around the flagpole. Each class had the opportunity to watch short informative videos to learn more about Autism and they enjoyed walking through the Blue Garden. On behalf of the teachers and students in the Support Unit, I would like to thank all the students, teachers, parents and the wider school community for celebrating this important day with us.
