Fairfield West Public school are pleased to announce that our school was featured in the Technology in Education magazine. This is a magazine distributed to all principals, educators and network administrators. A three page article on Miss Pulbrook and her class 5/6P interviewed on their SOLE (Self Organised Learning Environment) experience.
Fairfield West Public school SOLE Math project is an inquiry based learning initiative in which students are pitched a question. They then research and find possible solutions to put into action in a Math context. It is highly engaging and encourages 21st Century problem solving and creativity.

We are proud that one of our most senior classes was selected to be featured in this magazine. They are part of a SOLE Math ICT Project which also includes Mrs Vette-Welsh in 6W, Miss Isaac in 3I and Mrs Mandow 4J. We look forward to seeing the results of this student based project.
